Monitor WIP by Jammurch Monitor WIP by Jammurch
This is my monitor.
17" Flat CRT

The back air vents took the longest...they are rounded and beveled.
I haven't done the base/stand thing yet.
I'm gonna be modeling my entire computer over time.
Modeled in Cinema 4D.

I want some comments on things to do.

a fellow C4D user! nicely detailed. I started modelling my computer once, but quickly got bored and moved on.

huh? There isn't any thing special about the render. Its just radiosity. The model is the good thing.

Oh... 3D! Realistic work but that's wasn't hard to make the model ;) I'm not a fan of one simply model in white space with GI, try to make a scene :)

WIP...work in progress.
This took me like 20 hours to make, and its not even done.
It was very hard to make.

I'm going to put it into a scene with the rest of my computer when I'm done making it all.

That is really amazing stuff, if I didn't know any better I'd have thought you'd just taken photos of your computer. I don't really know what to add to this to make it better, it seems perfectly completed.

it doesnt have a powerbutton, a stand under it, and power cords

Well I kind of meant just the monitor, excluding all that other junk that connects to the entire computer system. A power button would be good though (I use a laptop so I kind of forgot about all that stuff).

everything you see there is how my monitor looks. the only things i havent done are: power cables, the swivel stand, the power button, other small details. but everything you see is how it is.

Great detail; I think you should mess around with things to add on the screen, because right now the preview is very grey and such (though it's just a preview, so it doesn't really matter).

I have another texture channel I can turn on. I took a screen shot and made it a texture and it looks pretty good.
